From what I hear, nobody got seriously hurt or shouted any prolonged expletives, so I count that a success. Thanks to everybody that came out in a somewhat timely fashion to make Turkey Bowl 2008 possible. Onto future events!
This Saturday (Dec. 6th) is the ThanksChristmas Progressive Dinner hosted by Captain Simeon. The night starts at 5 pm at 1609 S. 4th St, #B, Alhambra, CA and moves onto 346 Peach St., Monterey Park, CA before ending around 9:45 pm at 930 Hillvale Dr., Monterey Park, CA. I think there's a cover, like $5, so be prepared with those Lincoln's. In addition to food, there's gonna be a time of sharing in small groups, of which Paul "Don't Toy With Me" Yuen and I will be leaders. So come out this weekend and bring a friend. I look forward to seeing you both there.
Then! Saturday Dec. 13th will be our final Crossroads meeting of the 2008 year. How exciting! Gregory Jasper Lue has a great game planned out so again, bring yourself and a friend. We need all the bodies, I mean hands we can get. It's going to be intennnnnseeeee. (Hint: think Bloodsport I)

BBQzor ftw!
Crossroads' first (annual?...quarterly...bi-monthly?) BBQ at Ben and Noelle's place was a success. The carne was delicious and I heard the chicken was tasty. Thank you to all who came by, if even for a little while. Your presence was much appreciated. And to the lucky person who got the personal mini fan from the Hulk pinata...you're welcome. Next event is next Thursday. Crossroads will be present at the annual Turkey Bowl. Details below. Hope to see you there!

Crossroads Blog? Word, G
Crossroads officially kicked off Saturday, Oct. 18th. To recap: Dan the Man had a very well written introduction. I sat down and spat out the jumble of thoughts that came to my mind. The group then bounced around outreach ideas and we now have a very ambitious schedule, at least for the remainder of 2008. This blog will be updated more to let you guys know of future meetings and events. Hopefully there will also be pictures up from said events. For those of you that didn't show up to our first meeting (High school class of '04...The 30-something crew) our next meeting is Nov. 1 and I fully expect to see everyone there.
